HISTORIES ESSAY PROGRAM/ COMPETITION
POSTPONED
Due to a number of developments, the New
Americans Museum’s Family Histories Essay Program / Competition
for 2008 Spring will be postponed.
The New
Americans Museum recently moved to its
permanent new home at the NTC Promenade at Liberty Station. It
is projected that the museum will officially open its doors late
June 2008 with exiting, informative, and meaningful exhibitions,
and programming. Executing the move, overseeing ongoing construction,
preparing for the Opening, and expanding programming, has required
extensive time and resources. Therefore, we are postponing the
essay competition.
If essays have been submitted, they will be
held over for consideration in the next
essay competition.
